We have developed a standard range of furnaces in various configurations and sizes. Specnow will advise on process and production techniques to help you choose suitable capacity. We also offer bespoke engineering to meet your exact requirements. The flexibility of our designs allows us to extend the furnace capabilities later as you add new processes and applications. All of our equipment is fully tested and certified to the industry standards. We complete the job with professional installation and training.
Specnow also operate as a project team to supply rebuilt furnaces or to re-engineer your existing plant.
In some cases we have established a virtual company combining our own and our customer’s resources for the duration of the project. Working alongside your purchasing and engineering staff, we agree the responsibility for defined tasks: identification and acquisition of quality used plant, project management, refurbishment, design modifications, subcontractor supervision, final assembly and test. This co-operation gives you a high degree of control over quality and cash flow during the build.

Specnow specialize in the provision of leading edge technology. Our furnace installations are supplied with a powerful HMI, developed continuously over 5 years using proprietary SCADA type software. We also design and fabricate our own hot zone modules in high purity graphite and refractory metal options. For the advanced manufacturer, our furnaces may include mass spectrometers, cryogenic vacuum pumping and special software features. Our background in precision engineering and work handling offers unique solutions to integrating heat treatment in the production cell, using vacuum transfer loading systems.
Our designs and training allow our users to operate with a high degree of independence. In the machine and process control software, Specnow provide a number of maintenance support features including vacuum leak detection, pump and thermocouple performance monitoring, and calibration. These help the operator to keep the furnace in good condition.
Many critical components are readily available from local suppliers. Nevertheless we provide a fast response to emergency service issues. Our recent furnaces include modem access to the plant; the customer can enable us to interrogate the system for fault finding. Some users also connect Web-Cams. In many cases we can identify corrective action without dispatching a service engineer.
